Canada’s Place in the King’s Advancing Purpose!

Throughout Scripture, God is revealed as One who is continually on the move. His movements are toward an appointed and glorious destination. It is the conclusion of the Transcendent plan He began in Abraham, moving through His triumph, secured at the Cross, and is now approaching its fullness. From Genesis to Revelation, the unfolding story of redemption is dynamic, never static. Christ is the Champion rejoicing to run His course, advancing through generations, nations, covenants, and divine interventions toward the ultimate summation of all things in Him.

Canada is being called to discern God’s movements in this hour as a nation chosen to lead in His end-time work. For generations, Canada has been a pioneering nation. Natural pioneers cross frontiers, explore unknown territory, and establish pathways for those who would follow. Spiritually, the nation of Canada carries the prophetic character of the pioneer.

While much attention is fixed on political developments and their implications for Canada’s future, Heaven is calling the nation to a higher perspective. The Lord is summoning Canada to discover its assigned mandate within His unfolding purpose and to align with the advancement of His Kingdom. The political sphere remains important, but the greater issue is discerning God’s intention for this hour as Canada is being called to step forward and take its place in His redemptive purposes among the nations.

“…when he who invited you comes he may say to you, ‘Friend, go up higher.’ Then you will have glory in the presence of those who sit at the table with you.” Luke 14:10

Canada is being called to take the forefront in the King’s triumphal procession culminating in Jerusalem. As a pioneering nation, Canada is called to invade territory and spiritual dimensions, to occupy uncharted spiritual territory, and to prepare the way for the King. This territory contains great wealth, reserved for the concluding days of the age and is ready to be mined. This wealth is necessary and required for the times, as it holds the keys to unlock heavenly blueprints of Glory, prepared to sustain an end-time army of fierce and glorious warriors.

Nehemiah refused to abandon the building initiative God gave him for lesser concerns, declaring, “I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down” (Nehemiah 6:3). Canada must likewise resist the distractions, divisions, and competing voices that seek to pull it away from its divine mandate. The issue before Canada is not merely political, cultural, or economic. The deeper issue is prophetic alignment.

Will the nation recognize the hour? Will it perceive the procession? Will it take its place in the procession as an army of builders, preparing the way for the King?

THE HOUR OF COMPLETION

In the hour of Completion, the Lord’s Procession is coming into view once again, manifesting in time. Psalm 68 reveals the procession. 2 Corinthians reveals the Church participating in it. Habakkuk reveals its destination as the great trajectory of history, Christ’s triumph in completion:

“The earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.” Habakkuk 2:14

The Church is once again learning how to walk in step with the King. Canada is being summoned to recognize its place within that procession—to build what Heaven requires, to align with divine architecture, and to help prepare the way for the revelation of the King of Glory.

Canada’s role within Christ’s advancing triumphal procession, as He moves history toward the fullness of His Kingdom, is to work with Him to build a prototype structure for His return and habitation. Many will choose to observe the procession rather than join it. The procession continues; it neither stops nor waits for anyone. This is a prophetic call to perceive the movements of God in this hour and to become aligned with them!

Christ’s victory, secured at the Cross, was publicly displayed in His resurrection and became established in His Ascension. Yet Scripture reveals that His triumph continues to unfold throughout history as Heaven advances the knowledge of His Glory across the Earth toward ultimate fullness. Psalm 68 provides a remarkable prophetic glimpse into this reality:

“Your procession has come into view, O God—the procession of my God and King as He goes into the sanctuary.” Psalm 68:24

This imagery demonstrates a prophetic unveiling of the King with a royal company of His people, moving together toward a climactic and Glorious destination. The procession begins with the victorious King and culminates in His enthronement within a sanctuary prepared for His Presence. In this context, Paul further expands on this revelation and makes this remarkable statement:

“Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.” 2 Corinthians 2:14 

“…continues to lead us along in Christ’s triumphal procession.” NLT

The language Paul employs is drawn directly from the Roman Triumph—a grand procession granted to victorious commanders after decisive military conquest. The Triumphator—the Commander- occupied the focal point of the procession, while all participants marched in orderly formation behind him. Paul intentionally applies this imagery to Christ.

The Ekklesia becomes the vessel through which His triumph advances through history, releasing the fragrance of His knowledge into every sphere of life. This procession is both Ascensional and Eschatological. Psalm 68 reveals a people in a triumphal procession with their King and reflects the triumphant warfare of the armies of Heaven and Earth. It is an end-time procession highlighting our victorious King.

“You ascended on high, You led captivity captive; You received gifts among men…” Psalm 68:18

Ephesians 4:8 interprets this passage as “He gave gifts to men.”  His Ascension released the procession of established apostolic leaders who equip the Lord’s people to move out as a triumphant army! Procession manifests authority in those who follow and are aligned with the King.

Ascension was the beginning of a transcendent plan in which the Lord, through the sons and daughters of God, assumed the dominion Adam lost over creation. Having disarmed the principalities and powers, He authorized His great triumph to continue through His body—His apostolic saints. Victory, secured in Christ, is now administered by a governing body of sons and daughters.

The Ekklesia is the vessel through which Christ’s victory advances throughout history, releasing the knowledge and presence of God as a fragrance and imposing the judgment Christ won at the Cross upon His enemies. In this notable era, the Church must move from a mindset of seeking victory to being led in the victory already secured by the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.

The fragrance of Messiah carries a dynamic that stirs controversy, division, and hatred. It brings life to those aligned with Him and exposes the hearts of those who reject Him.  The procession moves toward His Return, when the kingdoms of this world will fully come under His government, and the knowledge of the Lord’s Glory will fill the Earth. It’s important for God’s people of every nation to understand that the Procession exists and recognize their place within it.
