Living The Ascended Life!

Jesus is the Ascended One. After His Resurrection He was seen visibly ascending into Heaven where he took His seat on the Throne with the Father. In John 3:13 Jesus informed us that no one except Himself has ascended into Heaven—that He was the One who came down, and who was in Heaven. This scripture is intriguing in that Jesus had not yet ascended and declared Himself to be in Heaven even as he stood on the earth in Jerusalem. The answer regarding His ascension may be explained by theophanies—His appearances as the Angel of the Lord: “…the Angel of the LORD ascended in the flame of the altar!” (Jdg. 3:20, see also Gen.16:7-13). His statement regarding His presence being on the earth while in Heaven, shows that His Spirit was always occupied with Heaven, that He lived at all times as the Ascended One in the Heavenly places.

“Who has ascended into heaven, or descended? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name, and what is His Son’s name, If you know?” Proverbs 30:4

Ephesians 4 tells us that in His ascension after His resurrection, He filled all things. I believe that a better translation might be that He filled the whole Body with His Life—the last act to finish His work! The word fill is the Greek word Pleroo and means to cram full, to level up or make full a hollow, to finish or complete a task. In relation to this sense, the word used for all things which is pas, also meaning the whole, and can only be referring back to what has been filled. I believe when Jesus ascended, He crammed full to completion the whole Body up to the Head…up to the Throne! Jesus ascended and filled His newly created Body with an endless and eternal supply of His zoe life:

“I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly” John 10:10

“He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.” 1 John 5:12

“God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” John 3:16

Zoe life, reffered to as the God kind of life, is the eternal Divine life of God! God gives us this life that we may partake in the Divine nature of the Ascended One (2 Pet. 1:4)!

The time has become urgent for the Body of Christ to press toward and attain to the High call in Christ. The High Call is found in the High Place of ascension in Christ. The blessings and promises of God are found in living the ascended life in Christ. God intent in raising us up with Christ, is that we may live seated with Him “…in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus.”

“He raised us up with Christ the exalted One, AND WE ASCENDED WITH HIM INTO THE GLORIOUS PERFECTION AND AUTHORITY OF THE HEAVENLY REALM, for we are now co-seated as one with Christ! Throughout the coming ages, we will be the visible display of the infinite, limitless riches of his grace and kindness, which was showered upon us in Jesus Christ.” Ephesians 2:6-7 TPT

Throughout Scripture, it is revealed that the the high places belong to God and that His people are intended to occupy the high places. This is a natural and spiritual and principle for holding power, as those who occupy the high places have power over their territory and their enemies.

The Body of Christ is transitioning into conformity into a New Wineskin fashioned in Glory, founded on the LORDSHIP of the the One who ascended—King of the Universe. It is a New Model Church—The Church of The Future, modeled after the ascended Life of Christ in the age that is to come. It is characterized by Glory, where the Supernatural has become natural and the Spiritual is transcendent.

The dynamic of the New Breed now arising to serve the living God is this New Model reflected in the Son of Man, the Son of David, the Ascended Christ! It a model that reflects hearts bowed in worship, where the evidence of Christ’s Majesty and rule is acknowledged and adhered to. It is sealed eternally in the Blood of Christ and Holy Communion with Him in His Will.

A Psalm of David: “WHO MAY ASCEND into the hill of the LORD? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive blessing from the LORD, And righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him, Who seek Your face. Selah. Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of Glory? The LORD strong and mighty, The LORD mighty in battle.” Psalm. 24:3

We are the generation of those who seek Him, who seek Your face, that opens the doors to the King of Glory, for the manifest Presence of the Ascended One to take hold our lives. And we we are those who open doors for Him, to enter the spheres we have been assigned!

A Psalm of David: “When You said, “Seek My face,” My heart said to You, “Your face, LORD, I will seek.” Psalms 27:8

As this New wineskin becomes established in our DNA, we begin to apprehend more and more of His Divine nature. We becoming acclimatized to living in the higher dimension of His existence where we perceive great and mighty things we have not known. Things that might have passed us by, had we not made the intentional decision to pursue Him—to seek His Face!

We attain to the heights in Christ by faith, through practice and discipline; by pressing forward in understanding, and in the expectation that there is more…that here is always more. He awaits and anticipates our presence in the place where we fly High in the heights together, soaring on wings of the Great Eagle in the heavenly realms, guided by the Holy Spirit.

Living an ascended life in Christ begins at the altar, from the place of worship, from consecration, in the place where we have surrendered our lives to Him, where we are laid out before Him on the Altar as living sacrifices; where we have left all behind and with hearts bowed low, we rise up to ascend to realms of Holy Majesty in Him!

This is the place where we appropriate the blessings and promises… in the Heavenly places in Christ. It is here we both find and receive strength, courage, peace, and love, virtues that become part of our being, where we are Divinely moved to enter the Holy Place of Union with Him. It is here that we find the possibility to become overcomers of the sin and iniquity that continually wants to ensnare and rob us of this marvelous inheritance in Christ that is ours…as we are being changed in His Presence.

In this diabolic hour of history, in which we have been called to serve the Lord, it is vital to our well-being, mental health, and safety that we learn the skill of flying high. Ascension is not only our avenue of escape, it is also where we will find important Kingdom intelligence and Divine strategies to overcome in the battles. The High Place in God is located far above all principalities and powers where we access immense authority and reside under the protective shadow of the Almighty. We become overcomers and ride out from this High Place with Him—THE LORD OF THE ARMIES OF HEAVEN—the King, the risen God of Glory,

Know and understand that with the zoe Life of God living through you, no man or demon has the power to change the trajectory of your life ordained by God from before time. God has used all the circumstances of your life as ingredients to mold and fashion you in Him, according to the blueprint with which He has designed for you from before time! Everything is working together to press and squeeze the best out of you, to push you higher and higher and higher into the unlimited dimensions of Christ. God’s endgame for your life and is conformity to Christ and union with Him for His purposes and Glory. No matter what comes your way, choose to find the place in the Heights where the atmosphere is always Presence-filled, and permeated by Power; where perception is clear, and revelation and Glory fill the atmosphere.

In the battles that come, when you are being attacked by friends and family, fly high. When relationships break down, fly high. When you are sick and in pain, fly high. When you are attacked in finances, fly high; when others don’t receive you or acknowledge you, again ,fly high. When the enemy tries to lay siege against you, to surround you with chaos and trouble—ASCEND AND FLY HIGH. It is where everything needed can be found!

We are bound to the LORD by His Zoe Life dwelling in us! Rise in Him above the fray of the world and soar with the Holy Spirit on His wings of liberation and Sovereignty. Mount up with the Great Eagle and fly with Him into the Heights of greater dimensions of Christ.

“…but those who wait (are bound) to the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31

…but the soul of my lord shall be bound in the bundle of life with the LORD thy God…” 1Samuel 25:29
