The Last Wine: Prepared for Such a Time as This!

In a time of great shaking of the heavens and the Earth, which is working to release the harvest and set the stage for the sons of God to be released, Heaven is summoning the Church to rediscover the power and mystery found in the Wine of Communion. This Divine Wine, shared by the Body of Christ, is the very Life of Christ Himself. Scripture tells us that “the life is in the blood.” When we drink by faith, the Wine of Communion becomes the tangible substance of His Life—for faith itself is substance. When Jesus lifted the cup and declared, “This is My Blood,” He was unveiling the sacred mystery of Divine life imparted to us.

The Greek word in reference to Jesus’ Life is zoe—the Godkind of life, used in scripture for eternal life, resurrection life and Jesus as the Bread of Life we partake of. This is the Wine of Revelation—the unveiling of Christ within His people. When we partake of Communion by faith—eating the Bread and drinking the Wine—we step into the holy mystery of Divine union with the Living Christ. The Blood cleanses iniquity as the Life fills the vessel. Communion is not a lifeless ritual; it seals us into the mystery of union with Deity—a participation in Divine Life and Light—as we appropriate the supernatural life of Christ. As Paul wrote,

“For all the fullness of Deity lives bodily in Him, and in Him you have been filled to fullness. He is the head over every ruler and authority.” Colossians 2:9-10 TLV

The Greek word for “filled,” also translated as “made complete,” is pleroo, which means to be crammed full to the fullness, giving the sense that we have been given all and are to be overflowing with Christ! In communion, as we eat and drink, by faith we partake continually of His Divine substance as we are transformed into is likeness. The Blood that is the Life of Christ is the Light of men (Jn. 1:4). When we welcome Christ into our hearts, His Light enters with His Life, transforming His people as the outshining of His Glory—prepared and anointed “…for such a time as this”

The Blood of Jesus has the power to cleanse, redeem, and empower. End-time apostolic warriors overcome the enemy by the Blood of the Lamb (Rev. 12:11). The word overcome is the Greek word nikao, which means to conquer, to prevail, to gain the victory (Rev. 12:11). Jesus declared, “I have overcome the world.” He has conquered victoriously, and as those who dwell in Him, we also overcome.

The Blood Cries Mercy!

The Blood of Jesus cries mercy over all people. God gave His Son for the whole world, that any who believes in Him would have eternal God Life (Jn. 3:16). Jesus’ Blood cries mercy over our families, our nations and the world. It speaks better things than that of Abel’s blood, which cried out for justice. The Blood of Jesus cries, “Father, forgive them!” Mercy triumphs through the Blood.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

As the Father gave the Son for the salvation of the world, an appeal can be made to His mercy inherent in the Blood of Jesus to harvest the billion souls God intends to bring into the Kingdom. The Redeemer is coming to buy back and rescue a great harvest of people currently in bondage. In prayer and intercession, we make our appeal to God based on that mercy made available through the Blood of Jesus. We intercede and stand in the gap, invoking the power of the Blood to forgive, cleanse, and remove the stain of sin and iniquity weaponized by Satan.

The Blood testifies to the love, mercy, and compassion of Christ for humanity, with the power to redeem lives and even nations. The Lord revealed Africa to Rheinhardt Bonkke, covered in the Blood. Papua New Guinea has just voted to become a Christian nation, and El Salvador is on its way to becoming one. We must continue to appeal to the Blood in these last days to overcome. Satan and his demon hordes are terrified of the power of the Blood, as it signifies their downfall and their end.

Dream of the Costly Wine

Years ago, I had a dream during a season when I was fervently praying for revival, like the ones I had read about in the Hebrides and in Wales. It was the 1990s, at the height of the Toronto Revival, yet I found myself crying out for a move of God that would blanket regions and transform cities.

In the dream, I was wearing a trench coat and reached into my pocket, pulling out a bottle of wine. The label on the bottle read 414. There was no cork, and a small drop had spilled onto the floor. My friend, a leader in intercession, immediately left to find out where she could buy this wine. A pastor was also present. I reached into my other pocket and drew out a puzzle made of glass pieces. Handing it to him, I said, “The Lord says to tell you that you have all the pieces.” When the intercessor returned, she said she had found the wine, but it was too costly.

After receiving the dream, as I sat down to write a chapter titled For Such a Time as This, for my book In His Image, I noticed that the reference was Ether 4:14. As I read the words, I immediately understood this was the interpretation of the dream and the significance of the wine.

“For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows whether you have not attained royalty for such a time as this.” Esther 4:14

The bottle of wine in the dream represented the cost of the Call—salvation is free, but the price of the Call to serve Almighty God is to pick up our Cross and follow Him, which is costly. That year, Passover, when Jesus went to the Cross, fell on 4/14. The wine God has reserved for the end-time generation is the best wine, aged to perfection for the last-day saints. It is a wine that brings God’s favor, power, and authority to destroy our enemies and His. However, the price is living a crucified life in the likeness of the Son.

This Wine is also directly connected to Israel and Jerusalem. Those who choose to bless and embrace Israel will receive an abundance of New Wine reserved for the New Wineskin completed in the Hebraic Dynamic. It will be poured into hearts aligned with God’s purposes, waiting in the Spirit in Jerusalem for the Promise of the Father.

“And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the wine will burst the skins… No, they pour new wine into new wineskins.” Mark 2:22

Israel will become central to the next move of God. Israel is the great cause of Christ, the Son of Israel, God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob! He will weigh the nations of the world and their peoples by how they have treated the Jewish people “…the least of these My brethren” (Matt. 25:45).

God will ensure that all are confronted about their stance regarding His Jewish family. He is now moving Israel into position and securing them at the forefront of all that He will do in this closing chapter of history. Israel is the issue that will become the dividing line of the end-times—those consecrated to Christ in His love for Israel and those who are not. As I previously wrote:

Ministries and churches that persecute Israel or are weak in their understanding of Israel will be easily defeated in the upcoming battles and challenges the world will face. They will begin to experience a loss of influence in their communities and ministries as the enemy aggressively targets all Christian and Jewish influence in the world. The Harvest coming into the House of God will be lost if they are not delivered from the spirit of antisemitism. The blueprint of God’s House is Christ, born a Jew and died a Jew. He ascended from Jerusalem and will return once again to Jerusalem as a Jew—Prince of Peace, King of Israel. Those who are built and structured accordingly will stand in strength.

The Wineskin for these times is fashioned in the Dynamic of Christ’s Hebraic skin for the people who love and embrace Israel. Into it shall be poured the finest Wine reserved for the last, and out of it shall come forth the Light, Life and Glory of Christ. The Lord showed me that the Toronto Outpouring in the 1990s was but one drop from this bottle of choice wine, given by their choice to embrace Israel. This was but a foretaste of what He has reserved for the last, for consummation and union with His Bride.

God is now saying: Build your foundations and make them strong; Prepare your hearts and get ready for the New Wine about to be poured into the New Wineskin brought forth for the hour. The very best Wine is reserved for My son’s return for His Bride. Join Me in Holy Communion and let My Presence rise in You, for I am Yahweh, and I am rising in the Earth to save, to empower and to set captives free.
