The Blowing of Trumpets!
The great journey, commencing with Moses leading the Exodus out of Egypt that will ultimately concluding with the return of Jesus, encompassed three pivotal milestones, each signified by God through God’s sacred Feasts. In the initial month of the Biblical calendar, the faithful gathered for the observance of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Passover Feast, and the Feast of First Fruits. Fifty days later, the celebration of Pentecost ensued. In the seventh month, the spiritual Journey continued with the call of the Feast of Trumpets, followed by the solemn Day of Atonement ten days later, and culminating in the jcelebration of Feast of Tabernacles. These Feasts represented Divine appointments along the path of this remarkable journey, beckoning God’s people to stand in His presence.
There is great importance and significance to the last three great feasts yet to be fulfilled, as they will complete the great journey of the Presence of God with His people, which began with the Passover out of Egypt and will culminate in Jerusalem at Tabernacles! The Feast of Trumpets is a call to remember the Lord and announces a time to prepare to meet with God as it initiates the ten days of Awe before the Day of Atonement. It is a time to get our hearts right through confession, repentance, and humbling ourselves before God. It is a time to reflect on the past and make the necessary changes for the days ahead as we begin a new season of our lives. It is said that during this time God makes decisions regarding the year ahead.
God ordained the trumpets to be blown on many different occasions: They were to be blown to awaken people to repentance; to gather the People and make them ready for movement; to warn of imminent danger; at the beginning of war; and at the inauguration of a new king of Israel. The Feast of Trumpets will one day announce the coming of Jesus our King to take His Throne in Jerusalem.
Throughout this Feast Day, the shofar will sound and can be heard throughout Israel. The blowing of shofars releases a sense of awe, expectation, and anticipation of God drawing close. Over one hundred shofar blasts are blown culminating with a final “Last Trump.” The sound penetrates the souls of all who hear, sounding a call to Spiritual Awakening. With the blowing of the trumpets at this time I believe God is announcing the Great Awakening that begins the gathering of the Great Harvest at the end of the Age! This may come with an onslaught of catastrophes and great turmoil as the earth shakes awake to their need of God and of a Savior.
The prophetic fulfillment of the Feasts completed so far has been marked by holy invasions from heaven. For example: at the establishment of the Passover, God the Father came down with great signs and wonders to mark and initiate the journey of His people to the Promised Land. He told Moses, I have heard the cry of the people and am come down!
To prepare for the fulfillment of the Passover Feast at the Cross, heaven again invaded earth, and the Son of God came down performing great signs and wonders—He was Immanuel, God with us. At the fulfillment of Pentecost, God the Holy Spirit came down and was poured out. Great signs, wonders, and miracles were performed by the disciples and the Angelic Armies of Heaven. This can lead us to only one conclusion, that at the future fulfillment of the Fall Feasts, initiated by the Feast of Trumpets, God will again come down in the greatest invasion of the earth yet seen, with awesome signs and wonders in the earth and the heavens. Jesus will return, and the Holy Spirit will flood the earth with Glory.
The Return & the Catching Away
The mystery of the Feast of Trumpets is revealed in the second coming of Christ and also in the catching away of God’s people on a future day, as there is much work still to be done. In Revelation chapters 8-11, seven trumpets are brought forth: each blast announcing great judgments on the Earth. With the sounding of the seventh trumpet—the last trumpet, believers will be gathered and caught up to the Lord, to return with Him as kingdoms of the world will become the Kingdom of our God!
“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.” 1 Thessalonians 4-16-18
“Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed—in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” 1 Corinthians 15:51-52
This catching away to the Lord is critical and significant as it is the time those who are alive are changed and the mortal is clothed with immortality as it says in verse 53. Revelation chapter 11 announces the blowing of this last Trumpet that brings forth 7 bowls of wrath of terrible judgments. However, between the blowing of the seventh trumpet and the pouring out of the seven bowls of wrath, there is an interval in chapters 12,13 and 14. These three chapters provide a view of other events occurring before the 7 bowls of wrath are poured out.
A brief overview of Revelation chapter 12 reveals the warfare taking place in the heavens between the angels and the dragon; the birthing of the Sons of God—the Man Child, and the stage being set for the greatest showdown of History between light and darkness, as the kingdom of darkness is thrown down to Earth.
Revelation 13 then shows the emergence on Earth of this kingdom in its fullness, seen in the Beast system of Global World Order. This Beast is granted authority over all nations and tribes. A second beast is then revealed who pretends to be a lamb but speaks like a dragon. This second beast causes the world to worship the Babylonian Beast system, makes an image to represent it, and gives breath to this image causing it to speak. The second beast possesses the power to do great signs and wonders and causes everyone to receive the mark of the beast.
Revelations 14 then give Heaven’s view of the catching away of the saints—the reaping of the Harvest of the Earth by powerful angels. It begins with a call for the Earth to hear the Gospel and fear God because of the judgments that follow the sounding of the seventh Trumpet.
“I looked, and there before me was a white cloud, and seated on the cloud was one like a son of man with a crown of gold on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand. Then another angel came out of the temple and called in a loud voice to him who was sitting on the cloud, “Take your sickle and reap, because the time to reap has come, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.” So he who was seated on the cloud swung his sickle over the earth, and the earth was harvested. Another angel came out of the temple in heaven, and he too had a sharp sickle. Still another angel, who had charge of the fire, came from the altar, and called in a loud voice to him who had the sharp sickle, “Take your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of grapes from the earth’s vine, because its grapes are ripe.” The angel swung his sickle on the earth, gathered its grapes, and threw them into the great winepress of God’s wrath. Revelation 14:14-19 “
This passage lines up perfectly with the Parable of the Wheat and the Tares—the Great Harvest and ingathering that takes place at the time of the fulfillment of these High Holy Feasts. The question is asked of God, do you want us to pull out the tares?
“No,’ he answered, ‘because while you are pulling the weeds, you may uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.’ Matthew 13:29-30,
So that we fully understand this parable, Jesus clarifies:
“The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man. The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the people of the kingdom. The weeds are the people of the evil one, and the enemy who sows them is the devil. THE HARVEST IS THE END OF THE AGE, and the harvesters are angels. “As the weeds are pulled up and burned in the fire, SO IT WILL BE AT THE END OF THE AGE. The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil.” Matthew 13:37
The sounding of Trumpets will announce both the season before Jesus’ return and the Great Day of His return. The Fall Feasts look forward to His Second Coming, and the catching away of the saints—the Day when the Bridegroom will return for His Bride—a Day of the Clash of kingdoms. God therefore says:
“Blow the trumpet in Zion, Consecrate a fast, Call a sacred assembly; Gather the people, Sanctify the congregation, Assemble the elders, Gather the children and nursing babes; Let the bridegroom go out from his chamber, and the bride from her dressing room.” Joel 2:15-16
IT IS TIME FOR THE BRIDE TO LEAVE HER DRESSING ROOM.
God has been preparing the Bride of Christ for this great moment of history. The Feast of Trumpets begins the Jewish New Year of 5784 and the ten days of awe that lead to the Day of Atonement. 5784 is the year of the Door as four is the Hebrew letter Dalet which represents a door. I believe this is a year where the double doors of the favor of God will be opening to His apostolic people who represent the Kingdom of God and His purposes in this hour of historic turmoil we are shifting into. It represents the gates and everlasting doors being lifted up and opened for the King of Glory to come in. As Psalm 24 says this is the generation that seeks him that seeks his face. God is saying, Psalm 24 for 2024! In Revelation 13, the Beast is given permission to make war with the saints because Lord Sabaoth is going to show Himself mighty through His people.
“For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.” Romans 8:18
We are the generation that will see the wonders of God! Manifestations of His Glory will become the norm. Mass healings will take place in preparation for the march into the Promised Land of Christ. Each major stage or milestone in the construction and building of God’s temple, (represented by each feast), was accompanied by great signs and wonders as the armies of heaven invaded earth. A massive invasion by heaven and the power of God marked the 2 major times of crossover by the people of God—from Egypt to the promised land of Israel at Passover and the Crossover into the spiritual Promised Land of Christ at Pentecost.
COULD GOD DO THAT AGAIN? HE SAYS YES!
“As in the days when you came out of the land of Egypt, I will show them my wonders….” They shall be afraid of the Lord our God and shall fear because of you. Micah 7:16-18
God will do it again! The Great Crossover at the completion of all things announced at the Feast of Trumpets and completed at the Feast of Tabernacles, will be marked by the greatest invasion of earth by Heaven, with signs and wonders the earth has not yet seen. Heaven is mobilizing for a monumental and extensive invasion of Earth and the Body of Christ, for the third and final Crossover into the Promised Land of the reign of Christ our King on Earth.
The procession of the King, up to the seat of His Throne in Jerusalem is gaining momentum! This is fiercely contested by the power of darkness as the enemy knows their time is short! The Lord of all the earth is setting out and releasing the Armies of God to go forth with Him in power and in the strength of His might to complete His purposes on earth! THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS COMING DOWN! At the time of the fulfillment of the Fall Feasts, we will again see the release of God’s power, but this time as never before in history!
I heard the Lord say that the Word for the hour is “BE READY!” “I am ready to perform My word, prepare yourself and be ready! Get your Swords ready! Be ready and dressed for Battle! Be Ready to release your voice like a trumpet! Make ready a people prepared for the Lord as John the Baptist was called to. Let the Bride make herself ready!
“…And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with Him to the wedding, and the door was shut!” Matthew 25:10
