Repent, Return & Build the House That I want!

I believe we are living in the notable season of the wrapping up of this age. The age that precedes the coming reign of Christ on earth. The time when the powers of heaven are being shaken, and when everything that can be shaken on Earth will be shaken. The Bible calls it the fullness of time, also referred to in the book of Ephesians as the time of the summing up of all things in Christ. It is the season where the Bride makes herself ready. It is the season when the Harvest is ripe and is made ready for harvesting. It is the time for the long-awaited appearance of the sons of God on Earth. It is the time when the true House of God will be judged and shaken free of all impurities and mixture.

To serve God in this hour, a priesthood is emerging of the order of Melchizedek, exemplifying and manifesting eternal realities, as they dwell in Christ the High Priest of our faith.  These ones have given their lives as living sacrifices and have chosen radical obedience over lawlessness. They are a Royal priesthood moving as kings, living out from the supernatural life of Christ. They will stand as the distinction between those who serve the will and purposes of God, from those who are motivated by self-interests.

The veil between heaven and earth is getting very thin, and the battle between light and darkness will intensify as the powers of heaven are shaken. This is a day when we must be prepared for anything. God is now moving powerfully and is subduing the enemy. However, in the time of great victories the temptation is to put down our swords and return to complacency, especially when we see others doing the fighting. The enemy only ever retreats to regroup. In such a time as this, we must always stay vigilant.

Amid the warfare and the shaking, there is a building work that the Lord has begun. There is a tearing down and dismantling taking place, so, therefore, there must and will be a rebuilding that begins amid the rubble. This is happening across the board; exposure of all corruption that has been hidden is being revealed:

“For there is nothing hidden which will not be revealed, nor has anything been kept secret but that it should come to light.” Mark 4:24

There are two things that must begin to happen now that I mentioned at the beginning—the sons of God must appear and the Bride must make herself ready. The Bride make herself ready by submitting to the death process. It is the place of surrender to the work of the Cross that allows God to release resurrection power and life, where He beautifies us with the Royal garments of Christ. We emerge as a Bride adorned in Glory but also as the Sons of God wearing Lord Sabaoth’s Mantle of War!

Jesus is the House!

We war with the Sword of the Lord as we work with the Holy Spirit and the Angel Armies to build the House of God. That is now our assignment, to Build for Him the House He wants. There will be a distinction between the House the Lord builds and the house that he has not. God has a design and a Blueprint. The Pattern is Christ—all of Christ, not just the parts of Him we like or favor. It is everything made known of His mind, His Heart, His ways and His walk; of great significance to the Pattern is the Hebraic dynamic in which He chose to be tabernacled—this is the Blueprint of the House of God!

 “For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” 1Corinthians 3:11

Christ is the foundation of the House that stands forever, the House that will never fall. As a believer, it’s possible to give mental assent to these statements, without these truths having reached the depths that produces transformation.  The full dynamic of His being has yet to be manifested in the House of God.

What has been built throughout Christian history to the present day are partial reflections of Him. The House that God wants built, that will close the age, will be a representation of Christ with all His features, in all His fullness. This is His Word (Eph. 4:10-13).

 [and He did this] to fully equip and perfect the saints (God’s people) for works of service, to build up the body of Christ [the church]; until we all reach oneness in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God, [growing spiritually] to become a mature believer, reaching to the measure of the fullness of Christ [manifesting His spiritual completeness and exercising our spiritual gifts in unity]. Ephesians 4:12 AMP

Unless the Lord builds this house, all will labor in vain. We see this represented right now in the world, in people’s lives and in His House. A house that has not been built on the foundations of Christ made clearly evident in His Word is destined for destruction. Systems and structures are being dismantled and some destroyed. The Wind of the Holy Spirit is blowing and igniting fires on the Earth. Everything that can fall is falling. The Lord warned us in His Word:

 “Let me describe the one who truly follows me and does what I say.  He is like a man who chooses the right place to build a house and then lays a deep and secure foundation. When the storms and floods rage against that house, it continues to stand strong and unshaken through the tempest, for it has been wisely built on the right foundation. But the one who has heard my teaching and does not obey it is like a man who builds a house without laying any foundation whatsoever. When the storms and floods rage against that house, it will immediately collapse and become a total loss. Which of these two builders will you be?” Luke 6:47-49 TPT

“Through wisdom a house is built, And by understanding it is established; By knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches.” Proverbs 24:3

God knows how to build; He is a Master Builder. He intends that His people become a corporate City built on the foundations of Deity.  By wisdom a house is built, and the Word teaches that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

Man has chosen to impose his mind into the holy things of God, the fruit has been decline and mixture. God is now judging the mixture. We are to handle carefully what is holy to God and not offer to Him what He calls unclean.

Those who are Apostolic are sent to establish the mind of God on a given matter and work with Christ to build the facet they bring into the foundation of His House. Apostolic leaders must both teach and reflect the truth they are sent to impart. God is now establishing a governmental order to implement His will and build what He wants. In this critical hour when God is moving to take control of the building of His House, and the fear of the Lord is moving in to bring order into His House, woe to the man or woman who works with a self-centred agenda to build outside of God’s will in these fullness of times!

There is coming a new order of leaders who will steer the train back onto its tracks and rebuild the foundations of Christ in His House. What is now taking place in the natural in the United States, is a reflection of what God is doing in the Spiritual. Amazing leaders of authority and integrity are being positioned and set in place over their mountains and spheres and are toppling the demonic strongholds on these mountains. God has been preparing the leaders of His House for years and is bringing them forth in the appointed time.

No matter what we see with our natural eyes, God has a Plan at work. Our trust must always be in God’s wisdom. He has prepared His people for this hour! Your time has come. The time of hesitation and wavering must end. Be ready to move. Step out of the old, step out of the past and begin to embrace your future! Call it forth with eyes of faith!

Change and transition can feel uncomfortable because there is a fear of the unknown. When a father tells his child that he will catch him if he jumps, the child has no fear because he has absolute trust that his father will catch him. Unless you choose to take the leap, you will never know what lies beyond.  Gideon was a man who was afraid to take the leap. He hesitated to believe what the angel of the Lord was saying to him. He questioned God’s faithfulness, …why has all this happened? His questioned God’s decision to choose him. He put out a fleece to test God and God graciously answered him twice.

Build Me an Altar

“Now Gideon perceived that He was the Angel of the LORD. So, Gideon said, “Alas, O Lord GOD! For I have seen the Angel of the LORD face to face.” Then the LORD said to him, “Peace be with you; do not fear, you shall not die.”  So Gideon built an altar there to the LORD, and called it The-LORD-Is-Peace… ” Judges 6:22-25

Gideon perceived this was the pre-incarnate Christ, he built an Altar and called it Yahweh Shalom. God met Gideon in his place of fear and doubt. Gideon’s internal fight with God was over. He not only received peace with God, but he received the peace of God that he needed to go to war with. God is calling us to build an Altar to His Name! This is the place where He begins to build His House and where He begins to move out from our lives.  As with Gideon the altars we have built to the idols in our lives must be first torn down.

Abraham also built an Altar to the Lord’s Name and called it Yahweh Jireh

 ““Then on the third day Abraham lifted his eyes and saw THE PLACE afar off… Then they came to the place of which God had told him. And Abraham built an altar there and placed the wood in order; and he bound Isaac his son and laid him on the altar, upon the wood…  And Abraham called the name of the place, The-LORD-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, “In the Mount of the LORD it shall be provided.” Genesis 22:4, 9, 14

The Hebrew word for saw in verse 4, and looked in verse 13 is the word raah which means to see, to discern, gaze, behold, take heed. Something far greater is being implied in these two verses than simply a casual glance. The same word and inference is used when Moses turned to look at the burning bush—this was looking with discernment and intent!

Abraham named this place Jehovah Jirah, generally translated as the Lord will provide, however, as the same word raah is being used, a more accurate translation would be Jehovah has seen the need and provided. In the Mount, Abraham looked and saw the ram—what was needed was provided by God. God is the only One that can provide what is needed for the building of His House.

Moses also built an Altar and called it Yahweh Nissi: the Lord My Banner. The word nissi represents a banner raised in war, an ensign, a standard raised in battle. God has promised to defeat our enemies! After the battle over Amalek was won by Joshua as Aaron and Hur lifted up Moses’ arms, He Built an Altar to the Lord’s Name.

 “Then the LORD said to Moses, “Write this for a memorial in the book and recount it in the hearing of Joshua, that I will utterly blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.”  And Moses built an altar and called its name, The-LORD-Is-My-Banner; for he said, “Because the LORD has sworn: the LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.” Exodus 17:14-16

In the book of Ezekiel when the building of the Temple was finally complete, God wrote His name on it: He wrote Yahweh Shamah: THE LORD, HE IS THERE.  The Altar God calls us to build must bear His Name, written over our lives from the battles we have faced and fought. It is in the power of His Name we exist! We live and move and work in the Mighty Name of God!

Secure The Altar With our Offerings

The Place of our repentance becomes the Altar, the place upon which God can then build something that He can occupy! It is the place of submission to His will. We consecrate this altar with our offerings, sacrifices and gifts.

“Speak to the children of Israel, that they bring Me an offering. From everyone who gives it willingly with his heart you shall take My offering… And let them make Me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them.” Ex. 25:2, 8

The offerings given are to build the House for God to dwell. When Israel left Egypt, God gave all the wealth of the Egyptians to His people. But the wealth was to be used to build the Tabernacle. In the place where you have encountered God, give an offering of faith that He may build His house on your heart where He will Dwell. God doesn’t need our money! It is an act of faith in Him that He is looking for! He then moves to establish and bless you with more than you can contain.

“So Bezalel, Oholiab and every skilled person to whom the LORD has given skill and ability to know how to carry out all the work of constructing the sanctuary are to do the work just as the LORD has commanded.” Then Moses summoned Bezalel and Oholiab and every skilled person to whom the LORD had given ability and who was willing to come and do the work. They received from Moses all the offerings the Israelites had brought to carry out the work of constructing the sanctuary. And the people continued to bring freewill offerings morning after morning. So all the skilled workers who were doing all the work on the sanctuary left what they were doing and said to Moses, “The people are bringing more than enough for doing the work the LORD commanded to be done. “Then Moses gave an order and they sent this word throughout the camp: “No man or woman is to make anything else as an offering for the sanctuary.” And so the people were restrained from bringing more…” Exodus 36:1-6

These people got a revelation of something transcendent and were very stirred in their hearts to give, and those who had skills were stirred to work on the House.

God commanded Moses to speak a specific blessing over the people, and with this blessing, God said He would put His name on the people.

 “The LORD said to Moses, “Tell Aaron and his sons, ‘This is how you are to bless the Israelites. Say to them: “‘”The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace.”‘ “So they will put MY NAME on the Israelites, and I will bless them.” Num 6:22-27

All the names of God can be found in in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ. GOD IS CROWNING YOU TODAY WITH HIS NAME! The Name of Yahweh Shamah the Lord He is there. He is with you!
