Mission Impossible!
Our Ministry will now be launching an initiative based on God’s command to build His House called Yahweh’s House Master Builder’s Academy. While preparing for the Course, I heard the Lord say the words, “Your Mission, should you choose to accept it,” I sensed great weight resting on these words from the movie, Mission Impossible!
Why did God choose the language of Mission Impossible? As I understood from Him, the Mission can only be accomplished by the Lord! THE MISSION, SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO ACCEPT IT, IS HIS MISSION! It is not by man’s might or power! It is an assignment that will require God’s Power, strength, wisdom and direction. He has made it clear in His Word that without Him we can do nothing—nothing of spiritual eternal value.
The Lord is saying that the Mission is an assignment each must choose and requires consideration of the level of commitment that is required as it is the Call to the notable work to prepare the way for the coming King and whatever that dynamic will entail. He led me to this scripture:
“Now great multitudes went with Him. And He turned and said to them, If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple. And whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple. For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it—lest, after he has laid the foundation, and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him, saying, ‘This man began to build and was not able to finish.’ Or what king, going to make war against another king, does not sit down first and consider whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him who comes against him with twenty thousand? Or else, while the other is still a great way off, he sends a delegation and asks conditions of peace. So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple.” Luke 14:25-33
Jesus is very clearly imparting the message of what it means to follow Him. This is the hour of commitment! It is the hour where we are being called not to just mouth words, but to begin to live by our words. The scripture says that great multitudes went with Him. These are those that follow, yet walk on the wide path caught up in concerns of the world.
It is clear that the Mission Impossible comes at a cost. It is a Mission that is our life’s assignment that will consume our time and our world. It will require a crucifixion to everything other than the Mission. The assignment cannot be taken half-heartedly as a thing added to our schedule. Our comfort zones are about to be smashed! The Mission is not only impossible for us, it is critical to His purposes, and He needs us to get on board with His will.
It is time to build! Everyone has a Mission impossible. It is an Impossible Mission because we have great enemies set against the completion of God’s work. Nevertheless, Jesus will have the House that He has designed. We will get it right in the days before He returns.
These days will require a different breed who have been trained for the challenges of the hour. God is developing an army that is hungry that has moved past the stage of milk; those who are ripe for revelation and the requirements for following His movements (Heb. 6:1-2, 5:12). These are David’s mighty men who know how to fight with the left arm and the right, who build God’s hand with sword in hand. Building what He wants will come with great warfare, because the authentic is always contested by the enemy.
We have arrived at a time like the book of Nehemiah where after a time of captivity and discipline, God called His people to return and build. He is now directing His people to arise and build and is commanding all His builders to, “…be strong and do it!”
As with Nehemiah Builders must understand that the construction of this House will be surrounded by great warfare in a time of great shaking. It is important for the saints to understand they have been inducted into the army of God and must be ready and armed with sword in hand as we build.
“…I set the people according to their families, with their swords, their spears, and their bows… Those who built on the wall, and those who carried burdens, loaded themselves so that with one hand they worked at construction, and with the other held a weapon. Every one of the builders had his sword girded at his side as he built. And the one who sounded the trumpet was beside me.” Nehemiah 4:13, 17-18
There is only one on the Throne!
The prophetic Voice of the Lord must be restored to His House as it was in the Old Testament, where God directed the work on His house through the prophets, as He did with Haggai and Zachariah.
There has been much preaching regarding the Altar, but the Altar is not simply a place of worship where we sing songs to the Lord. Most definitely we worship, and we praise, but first and foremost, the Altar is where the portal to the Throne is opened by bowed hearts, and the One who sits on the Throne speaks—His Voice is heard, He leads, He directs, and He instructs His people.
There is only one on the Throne! We will not survive if we try to take His place and His seat! We will self-combust if we try to control His work. We must build the Altar and establish His Throne in our midst with bowed knees and ears open to hear the Voice.
I heard the Lord say the word insidious regarding control. I checked the definition, and it means, proceeding in a gradual, subtle way, but with harmful effects. This means that control will creep in slowly, and we start to take over instead of staying on our knees.
The Lord is the chief Apostle and the Master Builder of His House. He is the Lord, and He is the God of His people. In this House He intends to take over and to steer the ship. It is to our loss when we resist Him.
God is asking the Builders of His House, are you busy with only what you are comfortable building, or with what God wants built? Do you have ears to hear Him? If He wanted, would you be willing to change direction? Would you even know if He were asking you to change direction? Is it possible for God to have fresh Manna for the hour that you know not of?
God intends to complete what He has started, and it is not dependent upon us. He said in Philippians 1:6: : “Being confident of this one thing!” He will complete it with grace, grace—double grace will be released to finish His work in us and through us. The Headstone is the final stone, the completing stone. He will complete what he has started in the power and the grace of the Holy Spirit!
“And He shall bring forth the headstone with shoutings of Grace, grace to it!” Zechariah 4:7
A new cruse must be prepared to receive the King and what God intends to pour out in the season of the end of the age! Nnew wine cannot be put into old wineskins. New revelation cannot be put into old structures. Elijah said to the prophets, give me a new cruse. If the Foundation of the House has not been laid precisely according to biblical standards, there will be cracks causing a potential fall. We see this now happening in Christendom as large Churches and Ministries have begun to fall.
If the structures have not been built and secured according to the God’s Blueprint, they will collapse under the shaking that is to come; like leaning towers of Pisa they are structures that cannot stand.
If the container is not blueprinted correctly, it will lose the coming Harvest. The size and the condition of the Harvest will cause disruption in the Church to such a degree that rather than the church being and influence for righteousness and salvation, the Harvest will become an influence on the Church for unrighteousness and demonic activity that invites Satan to have a place in God’s House.
The Measure that the Structure is aligned to the Plumb Line of the Blueprint of Christ is the measure of Glory that it can carry. If God’s House isn’t built accurately, it will not receive the fulness of Glory God intends to release. God intends to pour out Great Glory on the House that receives Him as He did at the completion of the Temple, where the priests could not stand because of the Glory. If this was true in the old covenant, imagine what the Lord intends in the New Covenant at the completion of all things.
God has been preparing each one for their portion in the building work, releasing strategies to disciple and enforce His Kingdom in our cities and our nations. Everyone has been given gifts with which to build and some have been trained as specialists on certain features of the House—all have been given a portion of the work as their Ministry to the Lord.
I believe God is now asking us, in the closing days of history:
“What are you building? Bring your gold… and build My House—A place where I, who am the God of eternity, the beginning and the end, can dwell. A Place that I can make my eternal habitation, where you will not be destroyed by the fire of My Presence, because it is built from the very essence of My Life. My House is Holy, so handle with care! Nothing outside of My Son can stand or will remain! Walk carefully before me now, be holy as I am Holy, and we will accomplish great things in the earth! Multitudes of lives will be saved! I am the Lord of the Harvest, that is My name, and that is My burning desire!”
God is now asking many, like He did to both Adam and Elijah, “Where are you? What are you doing here?” One was in hiding because of sin, and the other on the run because of discouragement and fear. I believe God is asking each one of His children at this significant moment in history, as we are about to be launched out and catapulted into the time of the summing up of all things:
“Are you with Me? Are you sold out to My agenda? Are you in time with Me? Are you in line with My will?” Are you ready to build My House. As beautiful and magnificent your churches may appear to be, if the foundations are not built accurately and secured, they will crumble under the weight of the shaking! In this day I am arising to build my Church, and this church, the gates of hades will not be able to penetrate. Who will seek me and choose my way and my heart’s desire for my house? Who grieves with me over my house? Who will rise with me and build? Come to the table where I will feed you my treasures, hidden in secret places, reserved for this hour. Let us dine together. We will build with sword in hand and dying together in the midst of our enemies. Don’t allow pride tocause you to miss Me.
God is looking for a people who have ears to hear Him, who will work together to give Him what He wants; people who can let go of control so that the Holy Spirit can have His way, to do what He needs to do.
As much as we may say the words, “Not by my not by power but by My Spirit,” many still want to control and steer the ship! It may simply be because we don’t know how to let go! Holy Spirit may literally have to pry or fingers off the wheel. Only as we let go can we mount upon wings of eagles and fly with the Holy Spirit where we discover that His way is far superior to every other way.
The Mission, should you choose to accept it…! Are you ready?
