FOR A MERE MOMENT!
I would like to share my heart on the situation in America and the prophetic words regarding this. Prophets are now being accused of having gotten it wrong, of being false prophets, and many are speaking out and cursing the prophetic. I feel I have a word from the Lord about this, that I would like to share and pray you will hear my heart on this. As far as prophecies regarding the elections are concerned, it wasn\’t just one or two prophetic voices that prophesied that trump was going to win a second term; if that was the case we could easily say, well, they got it wrong, forgive them and move on. But rather, it was a great majority of reputable Prophets and prophetic voices, from North America and other nations; they all in unison, were declaring similar words they were receiving from the Lord, that either Donald Trump was going to win the election, win a second term, some said they heard he would win 2 consecutive terms.
I have a deep assurance in my spirit that the vast majority of such well-known, sound prophetic voices, from many streams in the Body of Christ, all declaring the same thing, could not have gotten it wrong. I don\’t think that is possible! I do not call myself a prophet, but I believe I am prophetic, and that God speaks to me, so I do include myself in this, as I wrote that Donald Trump would win the 2020 election. I believe most if not all were hearing correctly and prophesying correctly. I have spent 27 years under the crushing, refining and loving hand of the Lord, learning to hear His voice and recognize how He speaks to me, and would like to say that I am not ready to apologize as I believe that the story is still unfolding. It is important to understand in interpreting what has happened, that prophecy is not an exact science. Prophecy is the heart and mind of God being delivered through human flesh, who may not be in possession of all the parts.
The mind of God is so vast and surpassing, so much higher in transcendence than our ways and our thoughts, that we must recognize that we cannot determine or control the way God intends to unfold His will. Prophets say what they hear and wait to see the manner in which God chooses to bring it to pass. This is what we are doing right now as we watch and we wait as things are unfolding daily—much that is not being shared on the news. We are living in unprecedented times and things are changing rapidly moment by moment.
Let us look at an example in scripture of the unfolding of a specific prophetic word. In 1 Chronicles 22:9-10 God spoke to David and declared that Solomon would become King after him and would build the house of the Lord. When David was old and dying, Adonijah, David’s other son rose up and declared himself to be the King. Adonijah prepared horses and chariots and fifty men to run before him, establishing his right. However, Nathan the prophet, Zadok the priest and David’s mighty men were not with Adonijah. Here we see that the prophecy given to David concerning Solomon took a turn in another direction. Nathan seeing what was happening, then advised Bathsheba to do something about it, as her life and the life of her son would be in danger if Adonijah remained as king. They went before King David and reminded him of the prophetic word. The king then acted and established Solomon as king over all Israel.
We do not know which way this present presidential drama will turn as the story unfolds, yet we must always remember history belongs to God, it is His-story, and God alone sets the narrative. The earth beneath our feet is presently rumbling as tectonic plates shift, pushing, and pulling against each other in the political and the religious spheres. We can sense we are on the edge of dramatic world changing events happening now all over the world. The Bride must go into the King’s chamber with the prophets as Bathsheba did with Nathan and remind Him of His Word. Then we must watch, we must wait, and we must pray for the Lord almighty of heaven and earth to move, just as He has promised. What will the King say about this present situation and how will He move, we don’t know? Nevertheless, we will continue to serve the Lord and look to him for answers, without jumping to conclusions and judgments against our brothers and sisters and the prophetic voices who are serving the Lord and the Body of Christ faithfully.
This brings me to another very important piece to the puzzle for interpreting prophecy, and that is the condition of our hearts as servants of God. What I have seen and heard from Christians over the last year has greatly disturbed me. The reactions of some prophetic voices and many saints to the events taking place in the world is partly why I believe God is holding back and is restraining himself from moving. Christendom has to get its act together. Firstly, a few prophetic voices have set an unchristian tone by using prophetic words as weapons to attack others they disagree with, setting a bad example to the Body of Christ.
The present situation is dire, but rather than bringing us together in unity against a powerful foe, it has only divided us further. We must ask ourselves, are we revealing Christ? Have we used wisdom in the way that we speak to each other! My cry is like Paul’s who said, “Who is sufficient for these things?” Who can stand and claim perfect wisdom? On Facebook and social media, in the posts and the comments, I have seen so much anger and saints warring against each other; Sometimes I have wanted to comment but refrained myself. But I am ashamed of the anger that sometimes rises up in me and slips out of my mouth. Many have allowed anger, frustration at the injustice to drive us to war with each other rather than with enemy—the spiritual hosts of wickedness. This is a plot of the enemy and a trap that many Christians have fallen into. Cursing others is witchcraft! We must also recognize whether we have tried to control God and events with our prophetic words and prayers. God will not be controlled by us—this is witchcraft.
In the past and over decades, the Lord has told me that when I am in control, He is not! God waits until we release control to Him, He is then free and released to move in any given situation, in the way He chooses to. When I have been wronged and tried to fight my own battles, God was standing at a distance removed from the fight. In such an instance He gave me this scripture:
“For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps: \”WHO COMMITTED NO SIN, NOR WAS DECEIT FOUND IN HIS MOUTH\” who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously…” 1Peter 2:21
There was a time in my life a few decades ago where I was greatly wronged and felt persecuted falsely. I was also a young immature Christion and acted in un-Christlike ways. I felt alone and abandoned even by many of my friends; it was a really bad time in my life. In that moment when I felt that Jesus, my only true friend would defend me and save me—He didn\’t. I was so deeply wounded and so grieved in my spirit that he did not stand up for me, that I turned away him for a moment also. I couldn\’t look at a Bible, I couldn\’t pray and basically, I just wept for probably about a year. It was a terrible time for me, but over time God wooed me back to him and restored my soul that was in pieces at that time. Eventually I was able to see and understand that He was not able to stand with me while I was in sin, fiercely fighting my own battles, and controlling things. You see God cannot and will not stand with sin.
As I have been pondering these things over the last few days, I began to receive more revelation on Luke 22, beyond what we spoke of in my last word. I saw that on the Cross, Jesus was also abandoned by His own, even those who had followed him, that it was only a very small remnant that stood by His side. In His own distress and need, He cried out “My God my God why have you forsaken me?” Because Jesus was bearing the sin of the world upon Himself, God the father had to forsake him for a moment, during the time where he carried the sin of the world. God cannot stand with sin. However, satan overplayed His hand as the scriptures say that if he had known what he was doing, he would not have crucified the Christ, because after the Cross came resurrection day, that brought about his downfall!
So, also, as in my time of battle, God forsook me in my sin, but in my restoration, I came back broken, yet far stronger, cleaner, and wiser than before. I believe this to be true also for the Body of Christ—for judgment begins in the House of God. Recently I have been hearing the words ringing in my spirit repeatedly, For a mere moment! For a mere moment! I recognized these words from Isaiah 54 and believe it is a word for America and for us all:
\”For a mere moment I have forsaken you, but with great mercies I will gather you. With a little wrath I hid My face from you for a moment; But with everlasting kindness I will have mercy on you,\” Says the LORD, your Redeemer…For the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed, but My kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,\” Says the LORD, who has mercy on you. \”O you afflicted one, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, Behold, I will lay your stones with colorful gems, and lay your foundations with sapphires. I will make your pinnacles of rubies, Your gates of crystal, and all your walls of precious stones. All your children shall be taught by the LORD, and great shall be the peace of your children. In righteousness you shall be established; You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; And from terror, for it shall not come near you.
I truly believe God’s will is to give Donald Trump four more years. We fought for that in prayer because we saw the signs of what was to come without him standing at the helm of the battle—and this goes for all nations. With everything that is happening in Canada moving it toward evil and the satanic agenda, many of us in prayer have cried out and wondered where our Leader is who will fight for us—I am speaking in the natural. I believe we have behaved so badly that God had to stand aside… for a mere moment, giving us some time to see our hearts and to repent.
It is especially important right now for Christians to recognize that some of the things that have been coming out of our mouths—the name calling, the criticism against our brothers and sisters, leaders railing against each other publicly on social Media, has been causing great division in the body of Christ. The Bible says that a house divided cannot stand! We must recognize the danger of the times that we are in, and that we cannot support and agree with Satan. God will not support us when we agree with the enemy; many who know better may have lost sight of that.
The army of the Lord is a holy army; we are created to be holy soldiers in the army of God. Our leader, our God, our captain, is a holy God. Before the battles began for the promised land, Joshua encountered this holy God. When Joshua asked him if He was for them or for the other side, He answered neither, and said, I come as the Commander of the army of the Lord! God is on His own side—the side of righteousness and holiness. He then told Joshua to take off his shoes for the place where he stood was holy. The Lord is holy and if we want to stand with him, we must be holy. We will not win the war, and we will be soundly defeated if we attempt to move forward with this level of sin in the camp.
True repentance is needed if we wish to see the Lord move in power. During 2020 there was a lot of talk about 2 chronicles 7:14, about humbling ourselves and turning from our wicked ways, but evidenced by what is seen in the comments on Facebook, I guess we were just mouthing words and there was no real heart felt repentance and turning away from sin. Nevertheless, we cannot truly humble ourselves, no matter how hard we try. We can pursue humility and attempt to put on a humble face, and yet still find pride and arrogance hiding in our heart. It takes God alone to break the pride in man and to humble us, then we will find the fragrance of Christ coming forth from a heart of brokenness. God declared that He loves a broken a contrite heart; that that is the one to whom he will look. True humility comes from obedience to God, from embracing the cross, embracing brokenness and not desiring revenge but rather treating our enemies with compassion.
Jesus, as He was hanging on the cross asked the father to forgive them for, they knew not what they were doing. We cannot move forward in this war—and it is a war, with anger, hatred and name calling on our lips. We have then become like the very enemy that we are wanting to defeat. We cannot control an all-consuming God of Fire and Thunder.
God is now preparing a holy people fashioned in brokenness to stand against the greatest onslaught by principalities and powers against humanity. We will not defeat them with their nature in us; we will not be able to stand with pride in our hearts and try to face off the king of pride. God is far more concerned with our hearts than with our loss of face! And in His love, He is first breaking us in order to protect us. Our cry should not be, humble me O Lord, but rather, “Bend me and break me O Lord, and if You see fit, have your way in me.
Be careful in the days ahead not to follow angry leaders that disparage, destroy and curse other people with their words—stay away from them. We also must be careful not to allow pride and anger to find its way into our prayers and our decrees. God has given the decree as a tool of authority for us to use as it says in Job 22:28: “You shall decree a thing and it shall be established.” But take note, the five verses prior to this verse God describes the humility required in the preparation for the decree. Another well known instance in the use of the decree is in the book of Esther, where the King told Esther to write a decree after she informed him of the plot of enemy. The King gave Esther permission to write a decree and he would approve it, stamping it with his signet ring. If we want the King to endorse our decrees with His signet ring, our decrees must come from submission to the King and because of His direction to decree according to His will, not ours. Sometimes our emotions get all entangled in our decrees, and then there is mixture. We have not seen a lot of answers to our prayers and decrees, I believe that is partly because God is looking to see hearts that mirror His own heart, that are aligned to His own will.
We are about to embark on the greatest move of God of all time, but it will come through a people who have been broken. God said in His Word, regarding authority, that He has made us Kings and priests before him. We should then examine the life and the heart of King David, the greatest King that ever lived. King David lived before the presence of God on his face in great humility. King David was absolutely obedient to carry out the will and the purposes of God just as He had said, nothing more nothing less. God says that we are to be wise a serpent, yet harmless as doves, and that is our position on the battlefield.
How do we move in great authority while maintaining humility? We live submitted lives before God we seek him in everything, we wait for His direction and we do not move out in presumption. We do not know what God has planned for President Trump who has also been forsaken an abandoned by so many right now, he is standing with his family alone, as I was during my time, and like Jesus was on the cross. He is being crucified in the press and on the world stage. But God! This story is not finished there may yet be coming a resurrection for the president, as much corruption becomes exposed. We don\’t know how soon that will be, however we will serve God, we will fight on the battlefields, but we will fight as a holy army, serving our holy God in His will and His purposes and we will trust His outcome. In regard to the prophetic, my advice would be look at their lives, and the ones where you see good holy fruit, trust them and listen to them, because God said in 2 Chronicles 20:20 believe the prophets and you will prosper. Don’t rush to judgment, and when it becomes very clear that they have missed it, forgive them!
