COMMAND THE FORWARD!

Over the past few decades, there has been a heart to see God take hold of our nations, and sometimes a striving to initiate Revival and Awakening! At one time, I felt that the Lord was saying we were desiring to see the Ark of His Presence inhabit our churches, and he was pleased about that, but that our hearts were in need of healing and cleansing because touching the Ark of His Presence with sin has consequences as David discovered! 

After making a serious mistake in attempting to bring up the Ark of God, where a man was killed, David realized he needed to understand the protocols for handling the Ark. Afterward David brought the Ark to its Place with worship, offering sacrifices every six steps of the journey. The journey of the Body of Christ from the time of Jesus’s Resurrection has been a journey of steps to bring up the Ark of God’s Manifest Presence to its Place in His House.

With all our efforts and maybe striving, God has not been in a hurry about this. He has been waiting for holiness and purity of heart as it is the pure in heart who see God! He is wooing us to submit, obey, get our hearts healed, to continue in our steps toward the goal while praising the Lord for His goodness and mercy, as we then try again as David did.

In a 2017 Article on the lessons of the Titanic I wrote: “Many years ago, I had a significant dream that has since stayed with me through the years, as I have known that this dream was for a season in time reserved by God. In the dream, I saw the proud Titanic ship heading out on its course. Directly in its path stood a giant white Rock, jutting upwards from the sea into the sky. In the arrogance of its power, strength, and majesty, the need for sufficient lifeboats was neglected as it was said that not even God could sink the Titanic.

God showed me that the Titanic represented the proud religion of the mainstream traditional Church, deceived by its own power and might into believing it could never fall. It did not understand that it was accountable to Christ and was on a collision course with The Rock that is Christ, standing in His Holiness directly in its path, with which it would one day collide.”

“Will you…walk after other gods whom you do not know, and then come and stand before Me in this house which is called by My name, and say, ‘We are delivered to do all these abominations’? Has this house, which is called by My name, become a den of thieves in your eyes? Behold, I, even I, have seen it,” says the LORD. “But go now to My place which was in Shiloh, where I set My name at the first, and see what I did to it because of the wickedness.” Jeremiah 7:10-12

The Titanic disregarded numerous warnings and collided with a Great White Rock. In this present time we are facing an onslaught of demonic winds, blowing with increasing hurricane strength against the Word of God, righteousness, and the principles of God—and all those who stand for it. The mainstream church in this hour is precariously teetering on the edge of the cliff as it dangerously drifts from the foundation of the Word of God.

“Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ “Therefore, whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was FOUNDED ON THE ROCK. “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, and it fell. And great was its fall.” Matthew 7:22-27

The Lord is saying that what is coming is too big, and people will get hurt as Ananias and Saphira found out. the Ark of the Presence is dangerous! God is a Consuming Fire, and He cannot dwell in the presence of willful sin and pride. Eli and his sons are an example of this. As priests, who were called to serve a Holy God Awesome in Power, they continued ministering with sin in their hearts. God gave warnings but they did not heed the warning, and as a result, the Ark of the Covenant was captured by the enemy.

Eli’s daughter died in childbirth when the Ark was captured by the Philistines. her son was given the name Ichabod meaning the glory has departed. The Ark was taken to Ashdod and placed beside the god Dagon which was then destroyed by God. The Lord ravaged the people of Ashdod with plagues until they cried out for the Ark to be removed. The Ark then went to Gath where the Lord brought terrible destruction of the city and plagues, tumors, and death to the people. The Ark then went to the Ekron where again destruction and deadly plagues broke out. Today we are protected from these things because the Blood of Jesus protects the one who is under the Lordship of Christ.

I heard the Lord say that He had given much time to repent! The Lord is saying that the Fire is going to Fall, but as it blesses some it also burns others! The Lord Sabaoth is moving out with His armies, He is no longer waiting! It is never too late to repent but there are consequences to disregarding the Word of God.

In prayer, I heard the Lord say war begins! I heard the Lord say: COMMAND THE FORWARD! Having read the articles written by Dutch Sheets on Commanding the FOREWORD, I was puzzled by what God was saying as this was a different word. I then heard the words: FORWARD MARCH!

This I understood, because for over two weeks the Lord has been emphasizing the words ACT and TAKE ACTION, He was saying that it was time for the Army to break Camp and Move out. I then understood that He was saying COMMAND THE FORWARD MARCH! I wasn’t sure of all the significance of Forward March and went to find out more about what God wanted to say.

The “Forward March” is the command used to Move Troops in a specific direction. The ‘Forward March’ means to advance forward to a breakthrough. It is the first move after the Halt! It is the beginning of forward momentum, after marking time, before the Forward March Command. It is to move or look forward in the direction that is in front of you. The Lord showed me that He also means to leave the past and the things of the past behind—He had me throw out some old things that were carrying emotional baggage that would hinder the Forward March! In the march forward, the army stands together in agreement and alignment with one another.

BRINGING IN THE GLORY!

When Solomon completed the temple of the Lord the priests carried the Ark of the Covenant into the sanctuary of the temple. ALL THE PRIESTS PURIFIED THEMSELVES those who were in service and those who were not. All the musicians stood on the east side of the altar dressed in white linen representing purity. They raised their voices and shouted, “For He is good and His mercy endures forever!” At that moment the cloud filled the temple for the Glorious Presence had filled the temple of God.

The Ark must be handled and carried according to God’s commands by those who have consecrated themselves. A sanctuary must be prepared for it. What is coming is too big! The Ark of the Covenant represents the promise of His Presence—a promise based on our agreement to obey His will. I believe it’s important to now allow our faith to arise once again to believe and to expect His manifest Presence to show up in a mighty way!

God is now giving the Command “FORWARD MARCH! We may not see miraculous immediate results, or we may, BUT THE VALLEY SHALL BE FILLED with water. Either way, we stay the course and move forward!

“And he said, “Thus says the LORD: ‘Make this valley full of ditches.’ For thus says the LORD: ‘You shall not see wind, nor shall you see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, so that you, your cattle, and your animals may drink.’ And THIS IS A SIMPLE MATTER in the sight of the LORD…” 2 Kings 3:16
