Come Out & Be Separate!
The Body of Christ has been on a journey—a transcendent path in God’s work of separating a people to Himself. Central to this Divine work is the principle of separation and consecration, a distinct feature aimed at shaping a people and a family conformed to the image of His Son. It is a deliberate process, a narrowing down toward the Divine principle that underpins the very essence of God’s purpose.
The first mention of the word separate is found in Genesis chapter 49:26 where Jacob blesses Joseph and calls him one who was separate from his brethren. The word used is nazir from which we get the word Nazarite which means separated or consecrated to God for His transcendent purposes.
Because God is holy Consuming Fire, and the world and all its people became contaminated by iniquity, He works to draw out and fashion a people for Himself who could be made over to be like Him, to become His reflection, intent on serving His purposes.
The inception of this principle is evident at the commencement of His work, in the Divine calling of Abraham to leave his country. God told him to come out and go to a land He would show him! This land represents the principle of separation. In the family of Israel, we observe God further separating from the people those who would be purified to come close to Him. These were the priesthood of Levites who were allowed to minister to him. In the New Testament, the saints become the Royal Priesthood freely given access to His Presence by the way of the Blood. This is a priestly company called and fashioned in the image of our High Priest Jesus Christ.
For those who choose to serve the Lord, God continually draws aside, separates, and consecrates to His will and His heart. These He calls His friends as they willingly submit to the Fire of His Presence where they have chosen to dwell. This is God’s desire for all His people—to come out from the love of the world be separated to Him. They are not afraid of His Fire! Rather, they embrace it as they embrace Him.
In the closing days of this dispensation, God says He will separate the wheat from the tares. He will separate the sheep from the goats. And as He separated Paul and Barnabas for a national ministry, He is now separating a company of saints who have said yes, and surrendered to His process. In Scripture, the Lord admonishes everyone to come out from among the world and the things of the world, to not touch the unclean thing and to be separate.
“Therefore “COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM AND BE SEPARATE, SAYS THE LORD. DO NOT TOUCH WHAT IS UNCLEAN, AND I WILL RECEIVE YOU.” 2 Corinthians 6:17
He tells His people not to be unequally yoked to unbelievers:
“Don’t continue to team up with unbelievers in mismatched alliances, for what partnership is there between righteousness and rebellion? Who could mingle light with darkness? What harmony can there be between Christ and Satan? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? What friendship does God’s temple have with demons? For indeed, we are the temple of the living God, just as God has said: I will make my home in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they will be my people. For this reason, “Come out from among them and be separate,” says the Lord. “Touch nothing that is unclean, and I will embrace you.” 2 Corinthians 6:13-17 TPT
God makes it clear to His people to stay separated unto Him. He is saying: Don’t break fellowship, don’t embrace the unclean. The world in its present state is unclean before a holy God. He bids you to separate yourself. In the last days, the sound of this message will get louder and more urgent. Get out and be separate! Babylon will fall!
Some may find they are led by the Holy Spirit to leave certain places, certain relationships, and even certain companies and organizations steeped in the occult as He takes the world through the cleansing Fire of the Cross. This Fire is a judgment on sin and the satanic kingdom. It is the love of God moving to cleanse a defiled world. The Blood of Jesus is the only agent that has the power to cleanse. The Cross must do its work!
This work must be finished in those who are being separated, so that they may serve him as a collective Glorious Priesthood and a Royal Army in the places they are called to. The trumpet will resound with His word to all: Babylon will fall, and the noise of her crashing will be loud and tumultuous. The time to separate is now!
There is an element of aloneness to separation, but never loneliness, as God promises to never be separated from us! For the Nazarite Company, there is no other way and no desire for another way!
“One thing I have desired of the LORD, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD, And to inquire in His temple.” Psalm 27:4
