The John the Baptist Call on Canada and the Last Day Saints!
As I shared in a recent message, God has been preparing A VOICE in Canada for this decade of the voice—a generation that represents the Voice of the Lord in the time of the summing up of all things in Christ! A Voice to declare His purposes; to declare His Word; to declare His Will. A voice represented by apostolic saints and leaders who will work with Him in His transcendent work to gather everything into Christ. The Voice is comprised of an army of heralds who work with Him. This end-time Herald is comprised of voices like that of John the Baptist sent to prepares His Way!
“The voice of one crying in the wilderness: “Prepare the way of the LORD; Make straight in the desert A highway for our God. Every valley shall be exalted, And every mountain and hill brought low; The crooked places shall be made straight 5. And the rough places smooth… the result: The glory of the LORD shall be revealed, And all flesh shall see it together; For the mouth of the LORD has spoken. “Isaiah 40:3
This represents the work God has been doing in His House and within each of His children to prepare them to be an ed-time Voice that prepares His way. The John the Baptist Call rests heavily on Canada as a nation and as I shared previously was ingrained in its foundation, at the conception of its national anthem. Canada’s Anthem came into being in 1880, founded on the love of Christ. It was commissioned to mark the John-the-Baptiste Day celebrations in the City of Québec. Canada is a forerunner nation fashioned by God to walk in the likeness and Call of John the Baptist. Jesus said of John:
“For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. And if you are willing to receive it, he is Elijah who is to come. “Matthew 11:13-14
John came as a representation of Elijah, prophesied to come once again to prepare the way ahead of the Lord’s return.
“Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD.” Malachi 4:5
The call on Elijah, that was passed to John, is the ministry of turning the hearts of the fathers to the children and the children to the fathers as this passage goes on to say. Who are the fathers? Romans 9 tell us who the fathers are.
“…who are Israelites, to whom pertain the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the service of God, and the promises; of whom are the fathers…” Romans 9:4-5
Although this scripture has been and can be applied to the ministry of the reconciliation between the generations, it ultimately applies to the last day generation of saints being reconciled back to Israel, to the father’s, their Hebraic roots, and to God’s original intentions.
Reconciliation must happen for the Body to become the One New Man Christ died to birth. One of Canada’s assignments, and the last day generation of saints, is the work and ministry to reconcile the saints to Israel and to prepare Israel and the Jewish people for the coming of the King. In considering this anointing and Call given to both Elijah and John to prepare the way of the Messiah, now entrusted to Canada and the last day generation of saints, it behooves us to understand and study the life, nature and purpose of their lives for this hour of history.
The hearts of both these men burned with passion for the LORD! They were both utterly sold out to their God. John demonstrated through his life, his deep commitment, regardless of cost, to serve God. He understood the protocol of being a forerunner, that all Glory goes to the Lord.
“You yourselves bear me witness, that I said, ‘I am not the Christ,’ but, ‘I have been sent before Him.’ He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice. Therefore, this joy of mine is fulfilled. He must increase, but I must decrease.” John 3:28-30
John was a friend of God and a friend of the Bridegroom and never considered usurping His place of honor. John understood that the call on his life was not about bringing Glory to himself—the work was not about either him or his ministry, as he made it clear he was only a voice! His ministry was about exalting and lifting up the name of Jesus. John was radical about the Call of serving his Lord, and he lived a life that demonstrated that level of intensity.
John’s life and ministry were crafted by God during the many years he spent in the wilderness. God fashioned him into a Servant of the LORD. All issues of pride were dealt with and any heart issues that could rise to self-promote or attempt to steal the love and honor from the Bride reserved only for the Bridegroom. John’s disposition was fierce in his passion and obedience—he was not interested in being Mr. Nice Guy to anyone. He spoke the truth with an unshakeable purpose that could not be swayed from his task. John was a Nazarite fully consecrated to his God!
Canada is being called as a Nazarite nation. The war for Canada has begun and every mountain that attempts to rise against God’s purposes for this nation shall be brought low. The shofars are trumpeting the war cry of the Lion of Judah, and angelic forces are clearing the way ahead before His people! Heaven is invading and Angel armies are warring over God’s will. Canada is the Mahanaim of the Last Days—the dance of two armies fashioned for war, working in a Divine synergy to make straight paths for the arrival of the King.
Canada is being called to die, to lay its life on the Altar for this most significant hour of history. God needs His people to now give all, to fight with Him for His will to be done for His world. He needs His friends, fashioned like John, who are ready to die for His Cause, to now step forward and be counted!
God is fashioning within the nation and His frontline army, the heart of John the Baptist—burning ones having fire in their bones. Ones who live from the eternal flame of Fire that is our God. They live not for this world, but for eternity. The fire has burned the dross within them, and the oil that is Christ Jesus rests upon this Headstone generation of saints. God’s Glory will rest on them like Fire and Light.
God Himself recently declared to one of His faithful servants, Lyn Wambolt, that He was the King of Canada, that He wanted a Crown and a coronation. He commissioned a Crown to be made for Him and provided all the resources needed. This was not just a good idea someone came up with! God commissioned the Crown to be made and provided the wealth of finances needed to create it. The Call and mandate on Canada are substantial and critical to God’s end time strategies. His desires, will therefore be done regardless of what others think about it or whatever the enemy tries!
Apostolic leaders released from the wilderness are now being raised up to carry the Call of John the Baptist to announce the King’s Return. They will work with Christ, assisted by the Angelic Armies of Heaven to build a platform that He can stand on—one fashioned in Holiness. These Transitional leaders are called to bring understanding of the dynamic of the times and set the stage for the King. They create the atmosphere for the Divine to work, by making His praise Glorious! Their passion raises the temperature levels of passion in others. They set the tone by their example as Nazarite servants, consecrated and wholeheartedly sold out to God.
Servants of the Lord have a deep history with God, they are friends of God and friends of the Bridegroom. God includes them in His inner Council in a partnership with His work as He did with Abraham, Moses and Daniel and John. John’s mandate was to make the paths straight for Christ:
“Thunder in the desert! “Prepare for God’s arrival! Make the road straight and smooth, a highway fit for our God.” Isaiah 40:3-5 MSG
When asked who he was, John answered:
“I’m thunder in the desert: ‘Make the road straight for God!’ I’m doing what the prophet Isaiah preached.” John 1:23 MSG
The Greek word for voice or thunder is Phone and means a noise, sound, and voice. It is the same word used in Jn. 3:8 “The Wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it…”
This Wind is the Holy Spirit, the Sound that carries THE VOICE OF GOD. When the sound of the Mighty Wind came, they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and they BEGAN TO SPEAK with other tongues, AS THE SPIRIT GAVE THEM UTTERANCE.”
Sons of oil like Elijah and John stand beside the Lord of the whole earth. They are given utterance by the Holy Spirit. They have power with God and carry the Voice of God—they are thunder released from the wilderness. It is the Noise of a great army that is now coming to serve the God of Creation. Of them God says, Behold my servant in whom I delight!
The Lord showed me that THE MONTH OF AUGUST will bring a breaking open in the spirit realm—a cracking open of things that have seemed to be locked up or stuck in continual patterns. I see patterns breaking. Addictive compulsive patterns will break. Destructive relational patterns will break. Things that seemed would or could never change will change. A great release of a people is here. God is going to break His people out into freedom in the month August. “I will go before you And make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze And cut the bars of iron.” Isaiah 45:2
THIS BREAKING OPEN WILL SET THE STAGE FOR SEPTEMBER where what has been broken open and set free will become established and made new. Promised Kingdom projects will be given birth…businesses, ventures, and Ministries. Things that have been mere concepts will now take form, be given birth and established, “Shall I bring to the time of birth, and not cause delivery?” says the LORD. “Shall I who cause delivery shut up the womb?”
“…as soon as Zion was in labor, She gave birth to her children. Shall I bring to the time of birth, and not cause delivery?” says the LORD. “Shall I who cause delivery shut up the womb?” says your God.” Isaiah 66:8-10
“A time of mourning and trial is coming to an end for my people and doors into freedom will open! You will be established, secured and set in place, says the Lord.’
This will be a time of great spiritual expansion in the body of Christ as a new wineskin begins to take form. Saints will come into the time of the fullness of their call and an abundance of resources to undergird the work and get the job done provided. This is happening and will continue even in a time of great upheaval, shaking, and turmoil, as God moves to root out corruption in the earth, to pluck up, destroy and throw down—a time where the saints of God will move out to build, to plant and to establish righteousness.
God has spent years on preparing an army of servants, taking them through the fire, breaking their very strong wills, their pride and chiseling away at all their strong opinions. These ones now bow to His will, they listen to His directions and say here I am Lord send me! The coal of fire has been put to their lips burning out every trace of opinionated speech. They recognize they have had unclean lips and like Job, they cry out, ‘I did not know you, therefore I repent in dust and ashes!
Those who are very careful with their words and are slow to speak will carry the Voice and Sound of the Lord for the times!
When Daniel recognized the time, He positioned himself to pray. It’s time to pray, it’s time to mobilize! God told Abraham to walk through the land and He would give it to Him! Abraham walked by faith and took that which was his portion. God, would you now define our harvest. Open our eyes for us to see our field and portion.
It is time to walk and it is time to talk!
